Ladies, help a man dress himself......Can I wear brown shoes with grey pants????H? - ladies loafer shoes

I'm going to a wedding night. I'm wearing a blue jacket, white shirt and gray pants. I thought I had a pair of black shoes with me, but everything I have is a pair of brown shoes. Is it wrong to use with gray trousers, or I should wear brown trousers. Or should I me a pair of black shoes
